There are currently nearly 50 models of electric vehicles (EVs) available, including all-electric vehicles with a range over 200 miles and plug-in hybrid vehicles with an electric range over 30 miles. Below are a few all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles with the longest ranges. To compare all available EV models, visit PlugStar.com.
There will be even more long-range EVs in the next year or two. To get an inside scoop into some of the upcoming EVs, watch our recent virtual event, New EVs – First Look.

I also love my KIA Nero plug-in-hybrid but I’m interested in the Aptera mentioned above who makes it? I’m dumb about these things… give me more info please.
Prius
No Jaguar I-Pace in your article – shame on you. Mine gets 260 miles per charge! I’ve had EV the first Leaf 10 years ago.
I have a 2017 Chevy Bolt. Back in 2017 the advertised (EPA) range was 238 miles. But if one drives carefully it is easy to obtain well over 300 miles driving on city streets (Los Angeles), and close to 300 miles on freeways as long as one drives at about 60 mph. With the increased advertised range of 259 miles, for careful drivers the typical range for a new Bolt should easily be well over 300 miles.
I am watching for the 2020 prototype revel of the Aptera. www. aptera.us If production is launched, even though limited in 2021 this will be the longest range vehicles. Using the electric batteries more efficiently than any vehicle out there. Granted only a two seater, initially, but with 25 cu ft of cargo area!
* Ranges will be 400-600 and 1000 miles with ability, in the right solar zone for 40 mile a day range from the sun!
What? No mention of the Jaguar I Pace? Mine gets about 230 miles and is an amazing driving car.
I didn’t see Kia Niro Plug-in hybrid listed above. I drive this vehicle and I love it. It’s a perfect car for around town. I get anywhere from 25 to 30 miles of EV range on a charge (rated for 26 miles). With both gas & electric it covers over 500 miles of range! Since I’m working from home I typically fill up after driving 1000 miles + since most of my COVID miles are local.
porsche? jaguar?
