Plug In America Announces Three New Board Members
LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, Plug In America announced the appointment of three new members of its Board of Directors as well as the full slate of advisory council and board members for 2017.
Joining the Board of Directors are Ingrid Fish, Randy Johnson, and Nicky Davies. “Our three newest Board members bring tremendous talent, energy, and electric vehicle expertise to the table. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to be the consumer voice for electric vehicles,” says Joel Levin, Plug In America’s Executive Director.
Ingrid Fish currently serves as the City of Portland’s electric vehicle policy lead. She is managing the City’s 2016 Electric Vehicle Strategy update process and coordinates with stakeholders to implement electric vehicle-related Climate Action Plan and Electric Vehicle Strategy actions. Ingrid develops strategic policy direction to increase electric vehicle use, increase publicly accessible electric vehicle infrastructure and decrease barriers to electric vehicle uptake. She participates in team efforts to apply an equity lens to climate action and climate preparation plans to ensure the actions support equitable community outcomes.
Randy Johnson is director of electric transportation development at the Southern Company Energy Innovation Center. In that role, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s evolving strategy and initiatives around the emerging electric transportation business – both on-road and non-road. For the past several years, the operating companies of Southern Company have marketed non-road electric transportation applications, focusing on sales of electric forklifts, cranes, conveyor belts and other heavy-duty electric equipment. The current strategy will build on those initiatives while creating new on-road electric transportation programs and opportunities for customers.
Nicky Davies is currently the project coordinator for the Plastics Movement Alignment Project, a global effort to ramp up impact and to develop aligned strategy to end plastics pollution. Nicky brings considerable experience in campaign strategy development and building cross cultural and global coalitions to this role. She was previously the campaigns director for Greenpeace USA from 2012 – 2016 and deputy head of climate and energy for Greenpeace International from 2007 – 2012.
