Sofya is the Senior Policy Manager for Plug In America, where she leads the organization’s state-level advocacy work. Previously, Sofya was Chief of Staff and Policy Advisor at the Zero Emission Transportation Association (ZETA), the nation’s first dedicated nonprofit electric vehicle trade association. As one of ZETA’s founding staff members, Sofya led policy development, grant strategy and acquisition, advocacy, and educational efforts to accelerate the transition to an electrified transportation future.
Sofya holds a Master of Science in Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership & Public Policy and Global Studies, Environments & Sustainability from the University of Virginia.
