Ellie is currently a Policy Assistant for Plug in America. She comes to the organization with an array of different experiences including campaign development and execution, marine research, grassroots advocacy, communications, permaculture farming, and digital media creation. In her most recent job, Ellie worked on communications strategy and execution for a global coalition of subnational governments committed to climate action. When it comes to addressing the climate crisis, Ellie will throw herself at anything that moves the needle in a sustainable and just way and is very excited to do so at Plug In America. Ellie attended UC Berkeley where she received her B.A. in Cognitive Science and B.S in a self-designed major called The Cognitive Psychology of Conservation. Ellie likes to fill her free time with art, music, surfing, climbing, backpacking, yoga, trying new things, and community.
