I’ve had one for four months and love it! It is much quicker than it sounds from the 0-60 time listed in the blurb and it handles really nicely. Very solid German feel. The re-generative braking system is fun and can be used aggressively to downshift (like a manual) if so desired and to maintain a charge. If the weather is temperate, the range is greater than 125 miles for sure. My only complaint is it takes too long to charge with regular current, so I bought a “Stage 2” charger for a few hundred bucks. Great little commuter. Definitely worth checking out.
Has anyone done the rebates or incentives when buying an electric car? I am
Very much interested in one?

When is the E golf coming to Australia
The 2017 e-Golf information isn’t quite available online. This information I believe was pulled through the “grape-vine”. the VW website has all 2016 information. the 2017 is supposed to have a slightly larger battery. fully digital display and a few other small items upgraded. Id love to see the new 2017 in person. I’d like to replace one of my other gas cars with it.
Both the VW and EPA websites list the e-Golf electric range as 83 miles, not the 125 miles shown here.
yes. i came to this site trying to figure this out too. can someone please explain the discrepancy?

A great, solid car. I’ve had mine for two years and still love it. The car rides and handles like a top of the line Golf, yet uses no gas. It took me 6 months to completely get over range anxiety and now I plan my driving accordingly. Go to work, charge. Go home, charge. All on 110 volt. When I need more range in a day, I plan my lunch break around a 220 charging station.
When will the 2017 e-golf be available in New Jersey?
